Strong steps. I would also recommend moving to a Battle Value system that determines experience earned by measuring the battle values of the mech firing and the mech getting hit. A pilot with a Level 12 robot and Mk2 weapons would make almost nothing when firing on a Level 1 robot with level 1 weapons. Conversely, the low ranked robot would achieve maximum XP for hitting the high-level robot.

So I have to agree with my fellow users. If they paid money for something, changing it for the sake of game-play is questionable. I would like to once again recommend shifting your approach to BATTLEVALUE. By changing the battlevalue of robots and weapons, you automatically adjust the experience someone does/does not received without having to change the 'bots or weaponary. Example: If the Spectre is showing to be overwhelming, fine...adjust tune down the XP the bot earns while dialing up the amount you get for hitting it. BattleValue allows players to have their cake, and eat it too.

Heed the warnings you hear from these players, Pixionic. Variety of 'bots and weapons are what make this game interesting. Take that away and you lose players. If you can afford to lose the paying players and the non-paying players they shoot, then I suppose it's a winning strategy.
