I dont know about you guys, but im really psyched about this. My clan is really active, and we're great friends too, so this'll definitely benefit us. I have been waiting for something similar to this a while, and am super glad it's in the near future. I also have some hopes this'll come out with workshop 2.0? Great work Pixonic, probably one of the best ideas yet.

I'm really looking forward to playing with these in test server. I really like the idea, and hopefully it will give classic robots a better advantage on the battlefield. Not saying that classics are totally useless against dash or stealth bots, you just have to play them right, I've taken down many haechis with a triple taran fujin. The concept of modules takes gameplay to the next level by providing different advantages and disadvantages. Although, I do agree you should give less module slots to the more "premium" robots. I also like Valkyrja's ideas on modules too. A module that can block aphid, vortex, and thermite damage would be pretty cewl.

Hows about a slight boost on components for battle rewards, and at least bring back a small amut of components for supply drops. Other than that, this sounds awesome.

Have you tried out bulwark? I have, and lemme tell you, this thing could be more premium than spectre, and more annoying and overpowered than shocktrain. It has two shields, a physical one and an energy on that can BLOCK OUT ALL DAMAGE, INCLUDING PLASMA/ENERGY. I tried this robot out in test server, and found it irritating to go up against, but fun to play with. This things gonna be hard to go up against when it airs on live server. Other than that, spark and exodus are really balanced weapons, and are easy to use. Get ready for scourge/spark ravens/griffins/rhinos, etc. Also, a good counter aganst bulwark is a fast robot. Try a taran/orkan doc, use tarans to eat away the energy shield, and when its gone or they put it down, use orkans against physical shield (since it splashes). This is a really long comment, i really got off track.... i talk too much :/

This is clearly an off-topic comment. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT A MAP, NOT THE GAME IN GENERAL. Really, people like you piss me off, because you're whiners, and complain when you don't get your way. All companies have to make money somehow, whether you like it or not, and while I don't completely agree with how PIXO is doing it (haven't spent a penny, and I have an inquisitor plus a few miscellaneous component weapons) I still don't complain, I just continue to play no matter what. Also, if you say you quit playing, WHY'RE YOU STILL COMPLAINING AND COMMENTING ABOUT THIS GAME, if you've really quit the game, just leave war robots behind and forget about it. This game is falling apart, partly because you WHINERS ARE STILL HERE. Seriously, this game could do without you people. I have decent equipment because I've put effort into how I play, unlike people like you, who just sit around complaining, not even trying, or have "QUIT THE GAME". Go sit in a corner and suck on your thumb like the baby you are.

Rome is an extremely fun map to play, and gives snipers the benefit of the doubt. The building section gives knife-fighting players a huge advantage, because shocktrains really don't do well there. It was a fun map to play on (I'm a test server peep) and really has some good graphics and scenery. I really hope this map comes out soon, along with avenger (heavy punisher), chimera (heavy spiral/hydra), and workshop 2.0.
