To be honest I was expecting this move to come, luckily i got myself a spectre, falcon, shredder and raven in the past month. We will just have to be patient now going forward when aquiring equipment. The offers seem reasonable but again only time will tell how many players will leave the game. In my opinion the gold should be reinstated in Royale. Overall the new setup will benefit new players but for anyone in expert league or higher it is going to take us longer to aquire free items. I would a bit of money each month but now going forward i think I will stop.

the issue here for pixonic is how to balance economy. This is basically finding a balance of supply and demand between the three types of players.
1)You the free players.
2) you have players who can spend say £20-30 per month
3) wallet warriors say no more
There is a balance of time to allow the free players (who are a large proportion of the player base) to obtain new equipment and to upgrade at a reasonable pace.
You then have (2) players who are probably the second largest group. This group have a trade off between how much money to spend upgrading vs benefit recived. This group is price elastic where a small change in the price of percieved benefit will have a large impact on demand.
3) wallet warriors they are price inelastic you can increase prices with a much smaller increase in demand.
Now you are armed with this knowledge, I recommend you do the following:
You need to reduce upgrade times and cost by at least 50% as in the padt i would use gold to upgrade now I do not spend a penny.
Workshop 2.0 upgrade times. You should only increase production times by say a factor of 4 for the old equipment and a factor of 2 for new equipment.
I would recommend you should put a survey out on this and see what your playerbase thinks as it appears to your financiers are calling shots but do not understand their customers i.e. us the players. I will see see what happens going forward and my prediction is you will get less revenue this month as i am now certainly in category (1) now free to play.

It seems to me you do not have very accurate financial models to assist in your decision making processess. I speak on these matters with 20 years financial experience
