The new update sounds promising, and I'll withhold comment until we see it implemented.

Tanking has nearly disappeared in expert league. The potential loss of reward box components is apparently having an impact. My biggest issue with Pixonic has been on the business side of the app. The devs are doing their job of creating new bots and weapons, but the business side says they're unavailable for most players. I started playing in 2017, have over 2,100 victories, and I just finally acquired my first component bot, a Kumiho. However, I've been saving WS points for a long time and have over 175,000 ready to use on something. I'm hoping I don't somehow get screwed over in the conversion process.

If Pixonic wants to make an improvement that will increase playtime, cut the premium cost in half and offer an additional, simultaneous upgrade feature for $5/mo. The second upgrade feature will increase the need/demand for silver, which will increase demand for premium. I'll gladly pay $5/mo for premium, but I will not pay $10. And, I'll occasionally pay $5 for simultaneous upgrades when I've built up a nice stockpile of silver. It's just taking too long to level up bots and weapons. I've yet to get anything to level 12, but I won't spend gold for reduced time, either.

Bonecrusher, honestly, I don't trust Pixonic to keep the deals available. With the current offers, a Haechi would cost 170,000 WP, Strider 35,714, Inquisitor 85,714, and Spectre 71,429. How long would it take to see enough Haechi offerings to acquire one? I want transparent transactions where the entire bot/weapon is acquired at once, or at least the components are always available at a set price (they can always offer discounts).

They try to keep us out of balance with their offerings. For example, a bot is 10,000 components, but the components are offered in odd amounts. Hellburner is $100 for 4,500 components. So, you have to buy two lots of 4,500, a lot of 850, and a lot of 200. Why not just price it at say... 10,000, 5000, 1000, 500, 100, etc.?

Expert level III player here with just over 2,300 victories. When I started playing, the predominant meta was a game with various bots and weapons with different abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. The challenge was to build a hangar that was competitive in a variety of circumstances dictated mostly by the map being played. Beacon rush was introduced, and it was, and is, the best feature of the game. It provided a quick means to direct confrontation on the battlefield and reduced the maddening commutes from the original spawn locations. Unfortunately for Pixonic, it allowed some of the old bots and weapons to remain competitive.

So, here come the multiple hangars and ability to select hangars AFTER the map is revealed. All the spenders bought additional hangars, bots and weapons tailored for different maps. So, here I am with my original collection of bots and weapons, that I'm still trying to upgrade, facing hangars of long-range weapons on the larger maps. If that wasn't enough, TDM was introduced that further enhanced the ability of teams to sit back with hangars of long range weapons and hydras. Multiple times I have lost my first bot without being able to fire a shot, and a couple of times have even lost two bots with no shots fired.

I have no level 12 bots or weapons yet, and I just calculated the time and silver required to upgrade each bot and weapon by one single level. It will take 64 days of actual upgrade time (not counting any slack time) and 382 million silver for this upgrade, but I'll finally have some level 12 equipment in ONE hangar. The only reason I'm still playing is the hope that 2018 brings some decent changes for the loyal, if somewhat frugal, player. If we're going to be forced to play TDM and King of the Hill as part of a continuing rotation, I'm done. I'm completely SICK of these modes. This is no longer fun to play. It's more like a daily chore that's required to obtain resources for hopefully better days ahead.

Potential Improvements
1. Provide opportunity for simultaneous upgrades. While I'm trying to upgrade my old hangar, I could at least be upgrading some other equipment for the future or for another hangar if I ever decide to fork over the 7,500 gold.
2. The additional upgrade feature could be paired with a reduction in premium costs. $10/month for premium AND an additional upgrade slot.
3. Change the pairing algorithm to focus on bots/weapons levels instead of player level. Player skill level is secondary in this game - weapon strength is most important. I guarantee that if any level 30 player was given unlimited access to MK2 Level 12 equipment, they would climb into Champion league within a couple of weeks.
4. For crying out loud, be transparent with your dealings! This slot machine mentality is not a good way to build trust with customers. I have over one million tokens that I'd like to use on a premium bot, but I have no idea if it's possible. I once blew around 10,000 gold obtaining a tempest, which was a complete ripoff.

I'm on the edge Pixonic. Either make some changes that benefit the casual player, or I'm done. Yes, I'm just one player, but I'm sure I speak for many.

Different strokes, bro. There's loads of strategy in beacon rush, and it doesn't take my non-dash bots half the game to get back across the map while being picked off with sniper fire. With all of the potential spawn points, your situational awareness has to be keen. Do I attempt to take the beacon with a weakened bot, retreat and engage another bot, wait for a teammate, or just ditch the bot to spawn in a more advantageous point (as long as the great, new, cooldown period has been met). According to Pixonic's data, Beacon Rush is by far the most popular mode among advanced players. The coolest moments I've experienced in the game is with both teams spawning right next to each other on the moon map and just hammering each other until the landscape is littered with bot carcasses.

LOL - I've never seen a game with so much potential being utterly mangled for $$. When I started playing, the Legend League was dominated by Lances, and any player could buy a matching hangar for $250, plus some workshop points (just the bots and weapons, not including upgrades). Since that time, Pixonic has introduced:
1. MK2 upgrades
2. Multiple hangars that can be selected AFTER the map is revealed
3. New game modes such as TDM and KotH that call for completely different setups
4. Tons of new bots/weapons that cannot be obtained without spending loads of cash

I looked at a Champion player's hangars last week - a player with "only" 3 hangars. It would take $4,850 to acquire his gear, not including upgrades and workshop points. So, where are we going from here? Supposedly, bots and weapons are going to be easier to get and harder to upgrade (timewise). But guess what? Spend some money, and the upgrade problems go away. On top of that, they're introducing modules that will cost money to acquire and to upgrade (if you don't want to wait an eternity). In other words, every modification they've made since I've started playing has made it more difficult for casual players like me to advance without dropping serious money. After a year and a half, I finally just got one hangar with all level 11 weapons, and my three gusts are the only component items I'm running.

Initially, I thought the modules were intended to bring back the viability of some older bots such as the Griffins and Leo I'm running or the Gepard, Natashas, Vityaz, Golem, etc. that are sitting unused. Instead, all bots are going to basically have additional upgrade capabilities that will not likely rebalance anything. Also, I don't like the idea of modules that take away control of an opponent's bots such as immobilizing ammo, nor would I like to see anything that inflicts friendly fire damage.

Finally, I'm not being critical of Pixonic just to be critical. I like and enjoy the game and was hoping to see improvements that would keep me interested. Instead, it seems like more challenges and roadblocks to ultimately getting new and upgraded, competitive equipment on the battlefield. Oh well, if I want to have fun, I can just watch Adrian and the others play with the good equipment on Youtube.
